The Department of Radiation Oncology is a department dedicated to radiation therapy among the 3 major cancer treatment methods: radiation therapy, surgery, and chemotherapy. Radiation therapy alone, or in cooperation with the surgical department and the oncology and hematology department, combines radiation therapy, surgery, and chemotherapy appropriately depending on the situation to achieve the optimal treatment for each cancer patient. It’s the main job.
Since its establishment in 1974, the Department of Radiation Oncology at Kyung Hee University medical Center has successfully treated thousands of cancer patients. As a result of implementing the best cancer treatment based on excellent medical staff and state-of-the-art treatment equipment, we are giving new hope to many cancer patients even at this moment. In addition, we are actively performing radiosurgery to remove cancer by intensively irradiating high-dose radiation without any error, opening a new horizon for cancer treatment.
